Winners 2023/24
The World Brand Design Society extends its heartfelt gratitude to all students who participated in the WBDS Student Design Awards 2023/24. We also extend a sincere thank you to the educators and educational institutions worldwide for their dedicated support and commitment to embracing the WBDS Awards. Your collective efforts are instrumental to the continued success of our community and the awards program.
The WBDS Student Design Awards take pride in their rigorous multiple rounds of judging, and this year is no exception. After careful consideration, our Judges and Editors have narrowed down hundreds of student entries to just 57 shortlisted and winning pieces of work. Among them, we have awarded 1 Black, 5 Gold, 17 Silver, 15 Bronze, and 19 Commended Awards.
The 'WBDS Design Education Institution of the Year' goes to San Diego City College from the United States for the second year running. A big congratulations to the dedicated educators of the SDCC Faculty team and students.
San Diego City College is a public community college that can be founded in San Diego, California, more can be found here. San Diego City College holds second position in the Global Design Education Ranking and moves closer on the leaders HSE Art & Design School.
The ‘WBDS Design Students of the Year’ goes to Bernardita Rodríguez, Denise Szternerg , Lidia Jurado from the design education institution ELISAVA in Barcelona, Spain.
The WBDS Student Design Awards will reopen on the 1st of May and will continue supporting students, educators and educational institutions. All students can pre register here.

WBDS Scholarship £2000
This year we have given out just one Black Mark Award to Bernardita Rodríguez, Maria Jose Quiroga and Juanita Arroyave from ELISAVA, of Spain for the fragrance Concept for Accord Bizarre by Jerome Di Marino.
Bernardita Rodríguez, Denise Szternerg and Lidia Jurado wins the title of ‘WBDS Design Students of the Year’, while picking up a Black Award, Gold Award and 1st Place Winners as well as WBDS Scholarship of £2000.

MARK WINNERS
Accord Bizarre Packaging Design: Jerome Di Marino's niche fragrance concept captures the surreal flight of birds, reflecting freedom and sensuality through scent and design. It offers a unique olfactory experience in unisex fragrances.
Atmeno Typographic Project: Preserving the Samogitian dialect, this font and interactive installation invite remembrance and cultural preservation through language and light, fostering a collective act of typographic heritage.
Ice for Life Packaging Design: Combating climate change, Ice for Life's playful packaging highlights the urgency of melting poles while advocating for individual responsibility and species conservation, aiming to educate and inspire action.
